摘要
An accurate and computationality inexpensive 3-D analysis of multilayered structure is developed by applying approximate models developed in the framework of 3-D Variational Deficient Approximation Function Approach. These models include Globally Averaged Stiffness model, Sub-Laminate Averaged Stiffness model, and Polynomial Stiffness Approximation model. Implementation of these models and their accuracy is studied on the examples of cross-ply and angle-ply composite rectangular plates with symmetric and non-symmetric ply lay-ups. Accuracy of the results is evaluated by comparison with Discrete Layer Stiffness model.
