摘要：

Capacitor voltage transformers are being increasingly used in e. h. t. lines to replace their electromagnetic counterparts. This paper develops a comprehensive theory of capacitor voltage transformers and discusses the effect of variation of frequency on the ratio and phase angle errors. A method for designing the different components of such a transformer is illustrated.
