An experimental investigation of the effect of transonic profiling of peripheral sections of the rotor on the characteristics of the compressor stage with a 100% reaction is reported. The effect of separators on the range of stable operation is investigated. It is shown that design of transonic compressor stages with a 100% reaction on the basis of known recommendations is possible.
