摘要：
The streaming instability which takes place during the one-dimensional continuous injection of fast particles may be accompanied by relaxation oscillations during which the intensity of the beam-excited waves varies periodically over time. The general analysis is applied to the particular case of the excitation of Alfven waves in a tokamak by a longitudinal beam of fast ions.
