The recent developments in printing technologies of the corrugated materials are described. The advent of the new micro-flute technology provides manufacturers complete control over the corrugated printing process. Direct printing of the materials has been made possible by the sheet-fed offset technology. The method is cost efficient and provides coating advantages with reduced grammage. The various modifications in the offset machine are also described.
