摘要
The paper deals further with the calculation of the stress intensity factors in two-dimensional crack problems by the sub-region mixed finite element method on the basis of earlier work. Here two improvements are made: more than one parameter of the stress field in the complementary region are employed; the stress intensity factors for mixed as well as single mode of the crack deformation are determined.
