摘要：

Casting of titanium and its alloys remains a problem is still and very difficult in view of the very high chemical reactivity of this metal. This paper describes the results of research on this metal at the Foundry Research Institute. The tests and examinations carried out prove the occurrence of a right choice of the process method for production is confirmed. The obtained test castings satisfy the requirements placed on precision investment castings.
