Within the planning and implementation of the Material Management System, packaging and packing functions have been carefully weighed against the conditions and capabilities of manufacturing, warehousing and distribution and the environment within which these phases of material flow exist. The goal of serving the customer better and at reduced cost has been met through new and revised methods and procedures.
