In addition to measures which are determined by the process and operating conditions, electric energy costs in electroplating shops can also be achieved by additional precautions. In particular, it is necessary to take care that exceptionally expensive peak loads do not occur. Effective switching on and off at the correct time which is essential for this purpose is made possible by fully automatic microprocessor-controlled energy controlling apparatus.
