The testwork on bacteria leaching of refractory low-grade Cu-Ni ore is described in this paper. The catalytic function of Ag+ on bacteria leaching of Cu-Ni ore is studied, and the catalytic mechanism is preliminarily discussed. Based on the bacteria leaching mechanism of polymetallic sulfide ore, two-stage bacteria leaching process is put forward, which eliminates negative influence of nickel on the dissolution of chalcopyrite. The leaching recovery of copper and nickel is respectively 68.07% and 68.13%.
