A power law turbulent fluid model is studied. Using a semi-implicit method for pressure-linked equations (SIMPLE), the numerical computations for the turbulent flow in sudden expand channel are made. The simulation results show that the changing flow tendency of power law turbulent fluid varies with the different flow exponent, which means that the flow exponent has an important influence on turbulent flow. The simulation yields good results when compared with experiments.
