摘要:
Ten years ago MRP was an obscure buzzword; JIT simply didn't exist in the English language. Today you can't work efficiently without manufacturing resource planning (MRP) and just-in-time (JIT) production. But what were thought to be opposing concepts a few years back are today considered compatible, as well as complimentary, systems. Misunderstanding of the concepts led to belief in their incompatibility. Ideally, JIT and MRP should fit together. 'MRP has to do with the collection of materials, JIT is the implementation of that planning'.
