摘要
The features of structural conversions in oriented samples of high density polyethylenes following irradiation at 20 and 100 degree C have been investigated. The character of the change in the structural parameters suggest that in oriented polyethylene radiation degradation makes a considerably greater contribution than in the non-oriented polymer. A possible reason for the effect observed is the presence of a large number of stressed communicating molecules in the amorphous phase.
