摘要：
A method of estimation of TLC basing on linear regression with canonical variates is presented in the paper. The set of predictor variables consists of basic spirometric parameters and simple measurements of the chest. The results for all predictor variables are very promising. The reduction of variables did not give yet the results sufficiently good for practical applications.
