摘要
The conditions are determined under which application of a time-varying voltage (high-frequency or impulse) to a gap with continuous positive corona discharge will lead to breakdown of the gap. It is shown that the effect of such an action on a positive corona discharge will depend on the rate of change in the applied voltage.
