Mechanical properties of ZG4Cr27Ni5Si heat-resistant cast steel at room and elevated temperatures and its high temperature oxidation-resistant property are introduced. Regression analysis for relations between main mechanical properties and temperatures has been made. The values of its tensile strength, yield strength, impact toughness and elongation are given. The relation between oxidation speed and oxidation time at 1100$DRGC is stated. Microstructure of this steel is analyzed by means of electron transmission microscopy and optical microscopy. It is found that the steel consists of austenite, ferrite and alloy carbide. This paper offers a basis for proper use of this steel in construction machinery.
