A study was made of the synthesis of 1(adamantyl-1)-2n-hexafluoropropane by gamma -initiated alkylation of adamantane by hexafluoropropylene. A technological scheme for the synthesis of fluoroalkyladamantanes by radiation-chemical alkylation has been developed. An experimental batch of product has been obtained using cyclohexane as the solvent. An optimization of the process is carried out for a reactor with an output of 30 tons/year.
