摘要
Papers published over a 17 year period, on the concept of extending 2-terminal HVDC transmission to multiterminal systems, are reviewed. In classifying the contributions, the design and performance expectations are discussed and the prospects for applications are evaluated. Reference is also made to the implications of dc interrupting switches. From the 71 papers surveyed, as of direct relevance to multiterminal systems, the overall evidence is optimistic that successful operation is technically feasible and that methods for simulation and analysis are well developed. Disturbances of dc power flow can be expected of duration 100-250 ms, depending on the adopted switching and control philosophy.
