摘要：

The efficiency of bromine chloride and chlorine in disinfecting viruses and total coliform bacteria in wastewater effluent under field conditions at a treatment plant was evaluated. At equivalent doses, bromine chloride was determined to be more effective than chlorine in disinfecting wastewater with several types of human enteric viruses added to the effluent, as well as viruses that were naturally present.
