摘要
A general law is derived for the relation between pressure, ratio of reduction, and exit speed in extrusion, in which material behavior, as expressed by strain rate-dependent flow stress, is taken into consideration. This law is valid for plastic, superplastic, and purely viscous materials and provides theoretical explanations for empirical relations, coefficients, and exponents as special cases.
