摘要
The ion energies obtained from the explosion of clusters irradiated by intense, femtosecond laser pulses were experimentally measured as a function of laser and cluster parameters. As a result, it was possible to optimize the cluster explosion temperature. In particular, the existence of an optimum cluster size both allowed the cluster heating to be maximized for a given laser pulse and to provide strong support for the resonant heating of the cluster plasma.
