This technical record of design and construction for Blue Mesa Dam and Powerplant is divided into three parts. Part 1 is devoted to historical information, general planning, a description of the features, a summary of costs, and geology. Part II contains four chapters covering the design of the earth dam; river diversion; spillway and outlet works; hydroelectric powerplant; and switchyard and their components. Part III contains one chapter on contract administration and four chapters comprising a concise narration of construction operations and equipment installations.
