A simplified algorithm is proposed for the calculation of the magnetic field of transformers and reactors with the aid of a Minsk-22 computer using the method of integral equations. Compared with the classical methods now in use, this algorithm permits one to take additionally into account the cylindrical character of the core of the magnetic circuit and of the windings, the effect of the ferromagnetic shunts (used with high capacities) on the field in the region of the windings, and to calculate the induction on the surface of these shunts.
