摘要:
The special features evident in the design of induction motors result from system requirements and the possibilities which the three-phase motor opens up or makes viable in traction applications. The power conditioner demands precise knowledge of motor characteristics; finite-element methods can yield a far more accurate picture of the magnetic flux paths than ever before. This process is equally indispensable in calculating the form of the dependence between motor gap and waveform, especially where end effects are significant. There is also the optimization of bearing selection, lubrication and size. Another subject for consideration is the effect on material utilization of the shape and losses related to modern three-phase motors.
