摘要
The problem of the effect of the technique of plasma hardening on the change in the microstructure, thickness, and mechanical properties of the newly formed surface layer of steel 45 was investigated. Their interrelation with the magnitude of the current of the plasma gun and rate of relative movement of the part being treated was determined. The possibility of a directed change in the thickness, microstructure, and mechanical characteristics of the hardened layer was established.
