functions with atomic number of the lanthanide will be discussed. The stability constants for the mono-and di-fluoro complexes of the above lanthanides were also measured by a simplified procedure using potentiometric technique. These stability constants are of the order of IO3 for monofluoro complexes and lo5 for the difluoro complexes. no evidence for the formation of higher order complexes was found.
