Model investigation of the outlet works for Meramec Lake was concerned with verification and improvement of the hydraulic performance of the intake structure, transition, conduit, stilling basin, and exit channel. Hydraulic performance of the original and revised outlet works with 22- and 14-ft-wide horseshoe-shaped conduits, respectively, was investigated by means of 1:40- and 1:25. 5-scale models.
