Today people can access a vast amount of information but it is becoming more difficult to find the necessary information among it. Thus a full-text retrieval system that searches the whole contents of documents is required more pressingly because most information is in the form of text. lnfoBee/ TR is a full-text retrieval software program that uses Japanese processing techniques developed at NTT Human Interface Laboratories. It locates required information at high speed and with high accuracy. It retrieves information based on free-form input using a word index, ranks documents in order of probable relevance, and provides relevance feedback.
