Electrochemical measurements were carried out with a PAR 176 potentiostat and a PAR 173 waveform generator. It is concluded that the electropolymerization is not only a linear chain growth with successive addition of monomers, but a complex reaction pattern with the competing addition of monomers, dimers and other oligomers at different reactive sites.
