Dynamic behaviour analysis of continuous rotor system

摘要
A transfer matrix method for a uniform and long shaft is derived considering its distributed mass, moment of inertia, and the effect of shearing and bending forces. This method is proposed to determine the critical speeds, modes and unbalanced response of any complicated rotor-bearing system. To demonstrate the effectiveness of this method, a numerical example is presented to estimate the effects of shearing and bending deformations on the dynamical behaviour of rotor-bearing system. Numerical results have been compared with the similar results obtained by other analytical methods as well as experiments.
