摘要：

It is required to teach robots without stopping production lines. To meet the requirement an off-line teaching system using a personal computer has been developed. In the system a 3-dimensional workpiece model is generated from 2-dimensional information of drawings. The operator can graphically teach the robot the path of the end-effector and examine the program by viewing animated robot motion on the CRT. The system reduces the time to teach robots and provides robotics manufacturing with higher productivity.
