Coextrusion, a technology emerging in the polymer processing world is accomplished through single manifold die and feedblock, through a multi-manifold die or in some cases a combination of both. The system design decision is commonly based on polymer processing or product structure considerations. The present work however, points out that in addition to these factors, there are a number of important factors that need to be addressed.
