摘要
To maximize the corrosion resistance of Cr-Ni steel components, their carbon content must be brought to within the solubility limit at temperatures at which structural and phase changes appear. For the majority of steels, this limit is below 0. 03% C. The authors investigated a melt containing 1. 94-2. 1% C, 17. 3-20. 3 Cr, 6. 2-9. 7% Ni, 0. 12-0. 25 Si, and 0. 027-0. 032% S. The carbon content is brought down from its original level to 0. 15-0. 25% by oxygen blowing, and during the final decarburization stage the steel is refined by injecting an argon-oxygen mixture. Mechanical and intergranular corrosion tests had positive results.
