摘要
The far-infrared absorption spectra of quenched germanium were measured with the magnetic field parallel to the LT AN BR 001 RT AN BR and LT AN BR 111 RT AN BR crystallographic orientations. The ground states of both SA//1 and SA//2 acceptors, which are observed among the quenched-in acceptors, are split into two levels corresponding to states with quantum numbers of plus or minus 1/2 and plus or minus 3/2. It is concluded that D and C bands, the absorption bands for the acceptors, are due to transitions from the GAMMA //8** plus ground state to the GAMMA //8** minus and GAMMA //7** minus excited states, respectively. The quantum numbers of the Zeeman spliting states concerning the transitions of the D and C bands and the g-factors of these excited states for SA//1 and SA//2 acceptors were determined. The Zeeman splitting of the ground state is negligible compared with those of the excited states.
