The paper deals with the results of studies on the effect of alloying elements (tungsten, molybdenum, zirconium and rhenium) on properties of niobium alloys in cast, strained and heated-treated states within a wide temperature range. It is shown that an increase in tungsten content of the alloys from 5 to 20 wt. % results in a considerable increase of their strength, the effect of molybdenum content on the alloys strength is insignificant.
