As Omark approaches new projects involving injection moulded metal powder parts its evaluation is not only based on the technical aspects, but the economic as well. Because most of the evaluations to date have been to determine if injection moulding of metal parts can be a low cost alternative to a present method of producing a particular part, the company has been identifying the type of parts which it believes are most appropriate for this technology.
