摘要
An epoxy resin (diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A cured with piperidine) containing 0 or 15% rubber toughening agent has been bonded to steel and copper, and the adhesion measured by calculating the critical strain energy release rate G//c, from single edge notched and tapered double cantilever beam specimens. The metals were pretreated to give either a conventional surface or a microfibrous oxide layer on the substrate.
