A 300 kW, 400 V turbo-generator with 3000 rounds per minute has been described. The turbo-generator is designed to operate in a turbo-expander installation and made in a flame-proof version. The design of the turbo-generator is considered and the general view of the turbo-generator is given. The cooling system has two independent cooling circuits: internal and external. The basic circuit of an excitation system with no brushes is given. The main parameters of an exciter and a pilot exciter are presented. It is pointed out that the regulation system provides regulation mechanisms by deviation of stator voltages and currents and also of the first derivative of stator currents. The test results for this generator are given.
