Convective heat transfer during steam condensation on vertical tube bundles with partitions

Recommendations are made on the calculation of convective heat transfer coefficients during steam condensation on vertical tube bundles with allowances for the influence of condensate leakage through transverse partitions on the sections of tubular heating surface located below. It is shown that condensate infiltration through the partitions reduces considerably the steam convective heat transfer. This effect should be taken into consideration when designing heat-exchange equipment.
