Audi, the German car manufacturer, launched Allroad, much later than the launch of Subaru and Volvo in 1996 and 1997. Of the 21,500 cars sold, 80% went to the US and it suffered a lack of interest in the Europe. Due to the sales in the US, Volvo has decided to launch the latest version of V70 Cross Country (XC). The all wheel drive system of the cross country is similar to that of the previous version, though it boasts of a 60 mm wider track with revised front and rear suspension.
