摘要
The testing temperature ranged from 1400 degree C to 1600 degree C and basicity (CaO/SiO//2) from 0. 5 to 2. 0. The reduction rate is independent of the FeO concentration in the range of reduction of 30% to 80%. Reduction takes place in the form of indirect reduction in which CO as reductant is consumed and regenerated by solid carbon. The controlling step is gasification. CaO increases the reduction rate.
