摘要：

The production control of concrete paving blocks which involves compression testing of the blocks is discussed. The compressive strength of the concrete depends on the cement content, the purity of the aggregate, compaction and the correct water content. The more denser the concrete the lesser is the voids in the concrete microstructure and higher is the bulk density and strength.
