摘要：
The present activities in the development of spinning technologies seem to point towards a possible diversification of short staple spinning. Specifically OE-friction and air-falsetwist spinning are at present discussed in detail. All participants in the textile processes face the challenge of safeguarding the technological advantages achieved so far and of realizing new spinning methods.
