摘要
The microstructure and corrosion resistance of a new high-silicon austenitic stainless steel for corrosion resistance in a seawater contamination solution are studied. SEM, X-ray diffraction spectrum, and EMPA are used to investigate the microstructure. Experimental results show that the ZGOCr18Ni12Mo5Cu3Si2 cast stainless steel has good intergranular/pitting corrosion resistance. Therefore, pumps, valves, pipelines and so on made from ZGOCr18Ni12Mo5Cu3Si2 steel have longer service life than most stainless steels in use of seawater contamination solutions.
