摘要：

This paper reports on the development policy for and the functions of the CMP-11, a subsystem of NTT's Computer Complex System. The CMP-11 is one of important subsystems in the System and it offers the two main functions: a communication function between HOSTs and FEPs, or any other processors in the systems; and a quick recovery function when the central system goes down, so that users are not affected and can continue operation. Use of the CMP-11 is expected to greatly enhance the reliability of the Computer Complex System.
