摘要
The high-pressure high-temperature conversion of diamond to graphite was studied and the results are presented. While the results obtained with different diamonds varied significantly, it is still possible to describe prime average prime behavior. It is concluded that the diamonds transform through a two-step process of nucleation and subsequent planar growth of the graphite.
