摘要
The deposit represents the sole source of raw material for an integrated steel industry in Alberta. The ore has proved refractory to beneficiation by a number of techniques. A selective oil-phase agglomeration technique is described. Medium-grade concentrates, analyzing 48-53% Fe and 10-14% SiO//2 were obtained with recoveries of about 75% of the total iron. The authors believe that these results represent the optimum possible for this ore body.
