摘要:
Combustion research related to hypersonic scramjet (supersonic combustion ramjet) propulsion is discussed from the analytical point of view. Because the fuel is gaseous hydrogen, mixing is single-phase and the chemical kinetics are well known. Recent progress in applying two- and three-dimensional analytical techniques to mixing and reacting flows indicates cause for optimism.
