This paper outlines the extensive changes that are being developed for regulations covering the manufacture and installation of fire dampers. The purpose of this paper is to advice readers of pending changes to AS1682/1979 which should finally be completed by the working group this year after comments received on DR85319. The contents of this paper are based on existing AS1682 and revised draft DR85319.
