The occurence of critical conditions ( ″flow choking″ ) in nonequilibrium two-phase flows (in particular wet steam flows) is analyzed. The aim of the paper is to evaluate methods for determining and calculating the thermogasdynamic functions and characteristic parameters and to use them for description of general properties of such flows. A one-dimensional stationary flow of wet steam, containing liquid drops of various sizes and physical parameters (i. e. , belonging to various fractions) is considered.
